August 2012: Proving that a thoughtful thriller/drama can also play to the action
crowd, PLAYER screens at the Action On Film International Film Festival, August 17 - 25, described by MovieMaker Magazine as "One of the Top 25 Festivals
Worth The Fees." Out of 150+ features & shorts, nominated in 4 categories:
Best Picture, Best Actor (Robert Fleet), Best Actress (Natalie Avital) and Best
Female Director (Alina Szpak).
June 2012: L.A.-based Cinema Epoch, headed by Greg Hatanaka, signs on to exhibit & distribute PLAYER in the U.S./North America, aiming for a winter 2013 release.
November-December 2011: Building on the newest technologies for cost-effective/high-visual-impact
production, Legend begins shooting first test scenes for JETT, an action feature written by Becca C. Smith, to be directed by Stephan Fleet.
For the shoot, Stephan will take time off from his position as VFX Creative Director
for Encore Hollywood, where he has been working with the Oren Peli/Steven Spielberg
TV series The River, shooting with them on-location in Hawaii.
October 15 -21: PLAYER has an Oscar (R) qualifying theatrical run in Hollywood, sponsored by The Polish Film Festival in Los Angeles.
2011 Fests & Markets: PLAYER had well-received screenings at the Cannes Marche du Filme, the Riverside International
Film Festival, and the L.A. Femme Film Festival, with solid international sales.
July/August 2010: PLAYER makes theatrical debut at the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago on July 31st and August 5th. Given 5 STARS in Chicago Reader audience rating.
March 2010: Legend engages legal representation for its projects with Chicago's Hal "Corky" Kessler, noted entertainment attorney for independents and expert on Section 181 and

December 27, 2009: Legend 44 starts shooting the first independent dramatic feature
in 3D: KILLERS (working title), breaking the mold in this dynamic new technique from special

December 2009: Legend 44 Entertainment Inc. sets up its first feature project,
KILLERS WORKING TITLE MOVIE LLC, a Delaware company, and acquires the screenplay KILLERS (working title), a drama/mystery feature about the consequences of an innocent
man's execution.
October 2009: Legend 44 incorporates its project development activities as LEGEND 44 ENTERTAINMENT INC., a California corporation.
